I am something of an orientalist, I'll admit. And now, I'm planning to run my historical Chinese campaign set in the Three Kingdoms period.

I was thinking how I had a bunch of resources I could use to add some authenticity to the game, but it might be cool to use them as more than just props.

Two big ones are the I Ching (I've got a couple of different versions of the books, real chinese coins (not the cheap ones you get in new-age sets), some sets of "i ching cards" which aren't very traditional but certainly good for ease-of-use, etc etc), which I'm fluent in using; and Xiang Qi (chinese chess) which I'm fluent in playing (I have a very lovely elaborate rosewood chessboard with titanium playing pieces).

Anyone got any ideas how I could input the system of the I Ching, or the game of Xiang Qi, into my Qin campaign?
