This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

GenCon Coverage this year?

Alright. Who's going to GenCon?

Who'd be able to post pics and diaries of the going-ons at the con here on the board this year?

Hoping Zachary goes, but it'd be nice if we had several gamers here covering the con each from their own vantage point. :)

Any takers?

I'm going, and I'm going to be busy showing my son and nephew - both their first time to Gen Con, and my nephews first game convention ever.

Any chance you could take some pics and whatnot and upload them later for us to see?

I'm going, but I'm really not that into industry events. If you want to know about cool games with my peeps, I might be able to cover you. :)

Good Morning,

I don't play at any ordinary level, so I'd like to request a character ahead of time.

A character appropriate to a tuxedo would be great if you have one. I'm a bit older (42.)

How has Dominion worked for the wee set?  That's got me curious.

Zachary The First

Sorry, it's a no-go for me this year, guys. I'd love to cover it, but can't make it happen between work and funding this year. :(

Oh man, I tried to match 'Chess, in concert' last night to prep for the game. Ouch! I'm going to settle for the (VERY extensive) wikipedia on it. I did come away with swapping out my white shirt for a black one though.

Ghost Whistler

Any chance someone going can ask FFG when Only War will release (along with the million other books they keep announcing), and why they are so crap at editing and proofreading. Thanks.
"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.

Isn't this a sign of the Apocalypse?

If Zach can't make it to Gen Con or cover it in a thread again - then the universe must be imploding.

Unfortunately, I won't be going either... So... the RPGSite will need another photographer to cover the show.
