I've used Mutant Future as a resource for my Gamma World games, but I have not yet run a MF RAW game where MF was the core rules. Have you? What are your thoughts?

Me neither. I've got so much accreted stuff for my GW game that I can't really imagine even trying to convert it all - despite having a healthy admiration for MF. I have much the same opinion of later iterations of Traveller. I'd try it but I don't want to have to convert loads of stuff just to start up where I left off.

You can also come up with something that is not only original and creative and artistic, but also maybe even decent, or moral if I can use words like that, or something that\'s like basically good -Lester Bangs

I have not run Mutant Future, although I've downloaded it a few times on different computers:

I'm just not as big a fan of it  as I am of Gamma World. There is a lot of "generic" elements that don't have any flavor that Gamma World has in domars.

It isn't bad or anything, but just not as inspiring to run a game.

I'd like to play the game some time to see if plays better than it reads, but at the moment, I'm just not into running it or using its material.
