This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Games you'd love to play, but haven't.

Yeah, you can add Thieve's World to my list as well.  I just bought a bunch of the novels off Ebay really cheap and hope to find the time to read them all.  The setting sounds very cool though.

AFMBE.  Always wanted to play in a zombie game, I just don't want to run it.
AccidentalSurvivors.com : The blood will put out the fire.

Maddman

Armageddon.  Being a half-angel or sorcerer fighting against Cthulhu's zombie Nazi armies for an Archangel, Odin, and Ben Franklin's ghost is just too cool for words.

Nobilis.  But first I'd have to understand Nobilis.
I have a theory, it could be witches, some evil witches!
Which is ridiculous \'cause witches they were persecuted Wicca good and love the earth and women power and I'll be over here.

Rob Anybody

Iron Heroes - As DM or player preferably DM
Adventure! - I would love to run a game of this as soon as I get off my ass (and WoW) long enough to write up an adventure.
Changeling: The Dreaming - The red headed stepchild of the World of Darkness but I saw potential for fun there.  But I wanted to play not run a game.

Name Lips

I'd love to get a chance to play Paranoia. I'm collecting pdf scans of as many of the books as I can.
Next phase, new wave, dance craze, anyways, it's still rock and roll to me.

You can talk all you want about theory, craft, or whatever. But in the end, it's still just new ways of looking at people playing make-believe and having a good time with their friends. Intellectualize or analyze all you want, but we've been playing the same game since we were 2 years old. We just have shinier books, spend more money, and use bigger words now.

Sobek

Wraith: the Oblivion -- I think this game got a bad rap.  It looks like it could be a lot of fun.  Tops my list of "I wanna try it".

Iron Heroes -- looks cool and different.  I'd like to see how it works in practice.

Any nWoD game, but W:tF in particular -- I was a fan of the oWoD (except W:tA, which I detested).  I'd like to see what the new version is like, as it looks much improved.  It kills me that W:tF looks like it might be the coolest of the new games.

Amber -- I doubt it'd become my favorite game, but it'd be interesting to try.

In Nomine - I've got a serious jones for the whole angels 'n demons gettin' their war on thing, for some reason.  Bought a lot of the books, but never managed to rustle up some schlubs to play it with me.

Demon: The Fallen - See above, amigo.

octaNe - Psychopostapocatroniclyptic.  Too damn cool for words.

Meddling Kids - great little starter RPG for kids by Pandahead that I picked up at Origins last summer.  I'll run this one sometime soon for my kids, I hope, 'cause I am all about the playing-RPGs-with-kids thing.  I hear they're gonna do (or have already done) Meddling Spies too, which would rock.  My kids love the Spy Kids movies, so they'd be all over it.

CleanCutRogue

I would love to play a good World of Darkness setting that includes all the supernatural beings... vamps, werewolves, everything.  I have TONS of source material but haven't really played except a few sittings.  There is just so much coolness there.

Additionally - for some reason - I wish I could play a serious Supers game.  Any system would do.  Every time my group plays supers of any genre it's not taken very seriously.  The roleplaying is always weak, nobody really gets into it... it's always just "Clobberin' Time!".  I personally have read enough comics and graphic novels that I can see the potential of a very serious and fun supers game.
