SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Gamer on the road

Laking a true off topic, I'm at a loss for where to post this, but here goes:

Barring bad luck (which, sadly may already be in the cards... its complicated) I should be in Glasgow, Scotland in a week, and for the rest of March.  Obviously I'm gonna see some sights, but I figured I would like to visit a gaming store while i'm there, maybe even sit at a table and roll some dice with one of you smarmy fuckers that always talks shit about americans if you're in the neighborhood.

For the curious, I picked glasgow out of a hat, being one of two or three cities in Scotland I could name off the top of my head while looking at expedia. So don't go telling me I should have picked X or Y or Z places. You're too late!

Besides, three weeks. I can travel a bit. Maybe even see the mainland, but I'm not gonna swear to that.

EDIT::: Damnit! SHould have put Scotland at the end of the thread title... oh well
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

For the curious: Apparently, in person, I sound exactly like the Youtube Character The Nostalgia Critic.   I have no words.

You might consider asking this on the the UK Roleplayers Forum (http://www.ukroleplayers.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=25) or just browse the Club and Shop locators on that site.
New! Cyberblues City - like cyberpunk, only more mellow. Free, fully illustrated roleplaying game based on the Fudge system
Bounty Hunters of the Atomic Wastelands, a post-apocalyptic western game based on Fate. It\'s simple, it\'s free and it\'s in colour!

Spike

but I don't know anyone there... I know... in a vague internet sense, people here.

Its a petty thing, I know...

I too would suggest ukroleplayers, as you will find most of us Brits occupy that forum too, and sometimes cross-post.

You'll get local gaming knowledge and shops, and if the reason for not visiting the website is because you dont know anyone there, thats a pretty lame excuse :-)
