This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The designers who really turn my crank, and inspired me to try my hand at designing:

1) Mark W. Miller -- Original, Little Black Book Traveller.

2) Chris Klug -- Victory Games' James Bond 007 RPG -- way ahead of its time, and my favorite rules system design EVER.

3) Merle Rasmussen -- The original pre-"S.I." version of Top Secret. (my first RPG)

4) Steve Kenson -- for demonstrating that it's still possible to do amazing designs within the confines of the OGL.

5) Jeff Grubb -- for the FASERIP Marvel Superheroes RPG.  Near-perfect genre emulation.

There are tons more, but those are the biggies.
