Frank Mentzer posted a "help wanted" ad on Facebook for a new five day tabletop game convention in Milwaukee, WI this July...

I suppose that's one way to handle the GaryCon situation.

Well, good for him.  He can move on and do his own thing.  Probably better for him if he just avoids the GaryCon subject, as much as he can.

How dare Frank do his own thing. He should spend the rest of life in obscurity and shame for what he did. How dare he get around being blacklisted by the rpg industry.

Well, I certainly wish him luck. if I didn't have constant crapstorms happening to me, I'd consider helping. I remember playing with him and Petticord in 84 or so.

In the description, when you click on "See More", you'll find that this is a convention event for THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. Not something RPG-related.

...At least the old coot has not lost his sense of humor. :cool:
