Hags are Russian in origin in large part. But also have some roots in other cultures too.

And of course are in part a nod to the Sea Hag from Popeye.

Well, hags are basically the witches from old fairy-tales such as Hansel and Gretel. In fact, the English word "hag" has the same etymological roots as the German word for witch (Hexe).

The notable "non-white" people in Bohemia were Romani. They're still called Bohemians in some countries. You could easily add a Roma hero if you wanna balance representation with historical accuracy. Roma are hugely underrepresented anyway, at least in any positive capacity. There's Disney's Esmeralda and Quasimodo (depending on whether you take the stage version where his mother is confirmed Roma as canon; in this version his father was Frollo's brother, both parents died of the plague), but nothing else I can think of.
