The cover art drew me in, but as soon as I read the phrase "you were a god, a post-human, one of the Loa" I lost all interest. I was hoping for a neat retro "hard" sci-fi setting.

I'm left wondering if it's supposed to be "Scientology: The RPG"... :idunno:

The game sounds interesting actually, but I like where this thread is going.

I couldn't quite rap my mind around it either, I spent too much time playing games like Traveller, Star Wars or Star trek to understand this stuff.

Loas? REALLY? Spirit-guardians of the Voodoo religions? Did White Wolf steal all the good ideas for supernatural creatures from folklore as origins?

I hope the game has Orcs and Encumbrance rules.

Sounds good to me. Where is our relaunch of Star Frontiers??? It seems so weird that game never got a second chance.

that is not really an accurate depiction of what it is about according to the author on rpgnet. it is more case of playing a fallen god who gets kicked out of 'heaven' and stripped of their powers. you then travel the mortal universe, righting wrongs to redeem yourself and return home.
