For someone who is not really in the loop at the moment, what is it?

It's a monster books like the Draconomicon only for Fiends. Presumably Demons and other Abyssal natives.

ooh boy... :)  it's looking really nice to me.  i think there's a link on amazon somewhere, if not wotc.  written by Erik Mona and James Jacobs, who of course are responsible for the Demonomicon articles in Dragon mag.

Interresting.

Considering I have the other books in this series (Draconomicon, Libiris Morits, and Lords of Madness), and use them profusely, then yes, I am very much interrested. I also find in intriguing that exactly one month after its release, they're releasing the fourth monster manual. Personally, I would rather have had that they released a revised version of the MM2 with a couple of monsters ported over from Monsters of Faerûn™. But alas, such is not the case.

Anyone have any idea what creatures, prestige classes, feats, and/or spells can be found in said book? It is obvious that the tome will contain at least one chapter devoted the Tanar'ri, but I would not be surprised if it also includes a chapter on the Demonweb pits and the fiends that call it home. The book will most likely also contain information of the different archfiends of the abyss, such as Grazz't, Demogorgon, and Orcus.
