Considering I have the other books in this series (Draconomicon, Libiris Morits, and Lords of Madness), and use them profusely, then yes, I am very much interrested. I also find in intriguing that exactly one month after its release, they're releasing the fourth monster manual. Personally, I would rather have had that they released a revised version of the MM2 with a couple of monsters ported over from Monsters of Faerûn™. But alas, such is not the case.

Anyone have any idea what creatures, prestige classes, feats, and/or spells can be found in said book? It is obvious that the tome will contain at least one chapter devoted the Tanar'ri, but I would not be surprised if it also includes a chapter on the Demonweb pits and the fiends that call it home. The book will most likely also contain information of the different archfiends of the abyss, such as Grazz't, Demogorgon, and Orcus.

pretty sure that there is a preview of some sort on WotC somewhere, but as you know my workplace blocks that site.

someone posted the text from said preview not long ago, and i'll see if i can track that down.  yes, you can expect more info on Orcus, Graz'zt, and Demogorgon - i can damn near guarantee that.  Demonweb pits is likely to be described, as are the realms of other demon lords.  the molydeus is very likely to be in the book.  Erik Mona has given a lot of cryptic hints, so one can never be truly sure of what's in there until someone gets an advance copy and spills the beans.  

MMIV is likely to suck (i'll at least look at it once before declaring this for certain), but i feel exactly the opposite about FC1:HotA.    in fact, this is the only WotC book scheduled for 2006 that i am actually excited about.

Ah, no I haven't, It is not really in my budget to buy Dragon. Hell, I can't even afford to buy the books I want without saving for months. I had to save for three months just to buy Races of the Dragon (good book btw, I don't like the dragonborn, but the rest of the book is gold plated platinum, definetly the best of the race books).

As for MMIV, I shall most likely buy it, I just hope they add least add *one* true dragon, is that to much to ask? I would even settle for any of the ones they've released on their website (I still like my version of the steel dragon better). On that note, did I ever mention that I made a true dragon treatment for the dragon turtle? I had to create a new breathweapon table to do it, but it actually works!

if you get a chance to pick up any of the back issues (#329, 333, 337, 341) at a discount, then you should.  they're quite well done, and have been touted as an example of what's to come in FC1.  a much better presentation for demon lords than what you see in BoVD.

Doubtful that will happen, as the only shop to carry them at a decent price have stopped carrying RPG's and thus no longer carries Dragon. The other shop where I can buy them they don't carry back issues, and take almost three times as much per issue compared to what the old shop did.

The place where I buy my RPG products now does not carry Dragon, but on the other hand, the books are cheaper. Hell, 26€ is a pretty good price for Races of the Dragon, when you consider that the price includes taxes.

Color me very interested in FCI:HotH. Jacobs and Mona tend to write some really good roleplaying material, and it will be very nice to have a good solid sourcebook on demons available.

I find that in my games I tend towards Aberrations mostly, so having a good solid sourcebook alternative might really get my creative juices pumping for a different kind of campaign.

Lords of Madness for you, then.

I treasure it, and always wish for more opportunities to use it. I really like the Tsochar, and the Aboleth and Illithid chapters are also extrordinarily excellent. For some reason i've neer been a big fan of Beholders. Grell make interesting occasional monsters for random encounters, but my real love is for the mastermind villians. Neogi are also an old favorite of mine from the Spelljammer days, and it warmed my heart to see them given such a solid treatment in a 3.5 supplement.

If the Fiendish Codex is up to the standard of Lords of Madness, I will be extrordinarily happy.
