Favorite Warhammer Fantasy Villain?

I am a big fan of Skaven. I gotta love the magic using ninja rats hiding in the sewers who claim to have tunnels beneath the entire world.

Who are your favorite bad guys in WFRP? Why?

#1
Constant Drachenfels, obviously, because he was a badass that spat in the eye of Chaos Gods constantly, and was a very Howard-esque evil sorcerer, with his "I had been here since the beginning of time" fluff. I imagined him always as some wicked individual, who usually engaged in intrigue mostly out of feelings of ennui and spite for lesser men. Nagash who replaced him in 2e just failed to deliver the same touch for me.

Second probably Skaven, yes - what can I say, I'm a sucker for "steampunkish" walking rats who constantly bicker. I think Skavenslayer's the best book in Gotrek & Felix circle.

I am a fan of Johannes Teugen from Shadows Over Bögenhafen. He fits the setting very well.

My favourite adventure for WFRP to be honest.

What no love for Gothard Goebells aka Gothard Von Wittgenstein, leader of the notorious D&Ders (Deviants and Decadents) from Power Behind the Throne and hinted at in Death on the Reik. Not really a major villain or anything. Although I really liked the nobles of Wittgenstein Castle esp the Lady (forgot her name), the Purple Hand has to be my favourite villains.

Redcrow

Sulring Durgal.

A powerful Daemonologist whose lair is entirely made up of daemons he has turned into furniture/furnishings.  The chair he sits in is a transformed daemon that contorts to perfectly fit him.  The books on his shelf are merely daemons that he squeezes until they tell him what he wants to know.

And if you're polite when you visit him, he may offer you a cookie.

Quite possibly the corrupt vice-bishop in Ashes of Middenheim.

Beastmen. Nasty bastards that deserve to be hunted down and killed. Several recent Warhammer novels have dealt with them, and they are awesome bad guys.

I always found Tzeentch the least interesting, for some reason.  What's his gimmick besides "I like to change things up?"

Khorne's worse, imo. I like Tzeentch, as he's  the most intrigue - focused of Chaos gods, and imo the most Faustian of them - he grants you power, but in the end, there's no wiggling out from the deal.

Then again, I pretty much wrote a fanfic here already for Drachenfels. I just love how Thoth - Amonish he feels in the world of 1e Warhammer.

Fair enough.  I've "borrowed" a lot of Warhammer villains for the setting for my D&D campaigns.  All the chaos gods, skaven, etc.  Khorne's good for the kingdom torn apart by constant wars.

Hmm, maybe I need to find a place to fit Drachenfels in...

Rincewind1

Skaven are indeed the race I import shamelessly into every setting I can.

Drachenfels is a bizarre combination between Ledger's Joker and Thoth - Amon.
