Stormbringer is based on Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melnibone series. The magic system not RQ, but all about deals with demons, sacrifices and binding demons to do your sorcerous bidding.

Well, BRP where death is much less likely for PCs, and a magic system where you only traffic with demons.
That's different enough for me that I ordered Crimson Blades 2e, which is like the Chainmail-inspired OSR version of Stormbringer:).

Love Moorcock and I have a 'copy' of Stormbringer around somewhere on pdf but I'm holding out for a hardcopy to actually sit down and read it properly. I want the St Andre/Perrin original.

The problem is, Stormbringer isn't easily available in PDF, alas;).

AKA, if its BRP and not Chaosium, I'm interested in learning of its existence, but my KEY FOCUS is seeing what Chaosium products have been cloned.

Dig around BRPCentral and you'll find some lists and 'family trees' that show an 'evolutionary' path of which product spawned which product, as well as edition timelines. Here are a couple of links: RQ Geneaology, BRP Family Tree
