Personally I found Battle's video to be pathetic, I mean he practically called Grim Jim alt-right. It's so ham fisted that I'm embarrassed for the folks that found it persuasive and can only guess they didn't actually watch it but just knew it was politically like-minded.

I agree. Trying to avoid interjecting off topic issues, but I can think of lots of activist topics that were hijacked by the woke and made to serve their agenda.

Accusing them of colonialism is fine, they're trying to be that when it comes to their imagined ownership of non-white groups, and with their imperialist attempt to impose "latinx" on Latinos who don't want it, because it's "for their own good".
But all of these still come down to SJWs sharing Nazi ideas. They think race is the most important thing about humans. They think races must be segregated or one must dominate another. That's what is motivating this idea that THEY must speak for black people or Latinos or muslims.
