This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. A RPG Theory needs to explain RPG facts

Well perhaps a problem with RPG Theory is that theories need to explain facts (aside being testable and falsifiable)

This may be interest to some as it is a somewhat rigorous survey exploring the motivations of gamers.

This factor was one of two statistically significant factors (the other is creative control)  I find it interesting as my fantasy game, using the Wilderlands of High Fantasy, is all about exploration and making your mark, doing a lot of things listed under Discovery Narrative. Maybe why I am able to have fun with a large variety of people over the years.
