This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). Yup. I ordered 3 more today. I got three more Christmas Grab Bags mainly because I really want to try the Robotech RPG Tactics game and getting it for $40 isn't a bad deal at all. I also am trying to fill out my Rifts collection and hoping they throw in the Beyond the Supernatural rulebook as well.

I'll say this I forgot to add the Robotech mini game to my order so I called the sales order hotline and Kevin picked up the phone and was super nice and friendly. I know he's a weird dude when it comes to protecting his IP and things but when it comes to gaming, gamers, and interacting, he's really great and humble.

I've never actually heard anyone say he wasn't a nice guy in person (at least, not anyone who didn't have to work for him).

The worst I've heard is that he's very bombastic, and passionate.  If he likes you, he LOVES you.  If he doesn't, he HATES you.  But I've never met the man.

Awesome!  Wish I had the money to get one or two, maybe next year!

I've never heard anyone say that a Grab-Bag was totally disappointing.  Has anyone here ever had a bad experience with this? Because really even if it's a way for Palladium to move older stock, it seems to be a consistently fantastic bargain.

Hardly a disappointment, but I had a Grab-Bag sent to me that was meant for someone else.  The happy ending is they sent me out another one straight after.  So I got two, which I can't complain about.

Definitely was.  I don't know whether the intended recipient of the first parcel got his sent out again too, but given how quick they were to correct the mistake for me, I'd hazard the guess they did the same for him.

No complaint content-wise either.  I did a list as suggested, made a point of asking for some books that were hard to get hold of here in the UK (new Robotech rpg sourcebooks) and got all the ones I really wanted plus a handful bookmarks and some art prints that are still on my wall.

Whatever issues people have with Kev or the Megaversal System, Palladium have always been damn good with grab bags and other orders over the years.
