This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So here I am all sulky at a less than fantastic kickstarter from MC when the above pops into my mailbox.

It's probably obvious by now I'm a game junkie but I've always loved Reign, it's up with Mythras, Alternity (the real one), Burning Wheel and BECMI as the games I'd settle down with (polygamy rules...in games (just in case my wife reads this).

dont know if he'll kickstart or what but I'll be watching this one :D:D:D
Talk gaming or talk to someone else.

My group and I played and ran a lot of ORE, starting with Godlike. We were hacking and molding the system for other settings well before Reign popped up. So, I of course bought it. Loved it. Didn't love it. The setting just didn't work for us, though of course the company rules saw plenty of action. But I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the project. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for posting the link to the new Kickstarter.

I love the One-Roll-Engine and bought the original REIGN book when it came out, but the setting turned me off. I'm aware there is a setting free edition of the game, but this new Kickstarter I'll have to check out now.

Neat. I always wanted to adapt the Company rules to a different dice system (oddly challenging to scale right). Thanks for the post.
