For those into Dishonored and/or 2d20, this is a thing due soon!

I only know of the Mutant Chronicles 2d20 version and understand that's a clunky example of what's a good system. I'd enjoy discussing anyone's experience with 2d20.

I played the first game. There was some interesting worldbuilding scattered in bits throughout. I'm curious how much the RPG will expound upon those details; I don't expect I'll ever actually play the game itself, but if it has enough setting fluff and nice art throughout it could be worth picking up as a system-neutral setting book.

FWIW, the big boss of the game, Harvey Smith, is involved and said years ago he'd love to see a Dishonored RPG so all the lovely lore and art that wasn't used could be.

I'm very curious where they're setting things in the timeline. Will it cover all the games and DLCs and give advice on what comes next? Or will it be Dishonored and Dishonored 2?

That is great, very encouraging. I don't usually buy setting books anymore but I'm surprised to say I'm looking forward to this one.

I hope we get a heretofore unseen yet delicious look at wonderful things! Did you play all the video games and DLCs? Have you (or anyone here) played in that setting? If so, at what point in the games did you place it?

I only played the first one and its DLCs, but I'm aware of the premise of the second game. Never used it as an RPG setting as I pretty much exclusively run my own settings these days, but if there's enough setting material in this book (which at 300 pages, seems likely?) then I would be sorely tempted to give it a go. Probably using GURPS, but Savage Worlds or Everywhen are possibilities as I've been tempted to give them a go recently. Even if only for inspirational artwork it seems worth a buy.

I'm definitely getting it and will give as unbiased a review as possible. FWIW, I have been running a SWADE Dishonored thing for my wife that takes place after Death of the Outsider and I have been super-happy with it.

Looking forward to it, I played the first PC game and that setting rocks.

The PDF is out today. I really love the Dishonored video games, I think Ive played the first one though over 20 times from start to finish.

I'll proabbaly never use the system (who has time to run yet another system? Not I.) but would be interested in the art and the background detail for using in my games.

If anyone gets their hands on the PDF can they give a breakdown of whats coevered and to what level?

Just got it.  On a quick look it's about 94 pages of intro, character creation, rules and GM advice.  10 pages on Void stuff like bone charms and the Outsider's mark.  Roughly 160 pages of setting and NPCs. There is a starting adventure and then that's about it.

How is SWADE as compared to the old SW system?

I got it. It covers 1&2, DLC, novels and comics, too. It's the whole shebang!

I'm not too familiar with prior editions past a cursory read but I really like SWADE. It's got a perfect level of crunch and I love the subsystems and optional setting rules.

I would very much love to pick your brain about the system as they’re are aspects that confuse me, mainly because of the comic.
