This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Doesn't that sort of get in the way of say, professionalism in their admin duties?

Never mind the bollocks, here's the correct answer: "no, it doesn't."
Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side? Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide.

Yup, highly unfamiliar with whatever the hell you're talking about.

Are you saying that guy's an admin, and that the admins here all pretend to be...what, woodland creatures? Royalty? Whatever the hell a "redcap" is?

Doesn't that sort of get in the way of say, professionalism in their admin duties?

On Topic:

Conspiracy X isn't strickly diceless but it can easily be if characters play to their strengths.

As if your skill is great than the difficulty you automatically succeed. If you take time, you can reduce the difficulty by one. If you have help from an equally skilled person you can also reduce the difficulty by one.

Since skills range from 1 to 5 and difficulties from 1 to 6 (6 being very rare), most of the time if you are doing something you are good at you never need to roll.

Also if your skill it 2 less than the difficulty you automatically fail, so you might as well not even attempt something really hard if you aren't highly skilled.

Good enough, and point taken. My apologies. Its just something that was so totally outside of the (many) fora I have been on, that it struck me as something very odd as a first reaction.

I guess its harmless enough, and clearly doesn't affect the running of this board, as its one of the best RPG boards I've seen in a long while.

Glad we have all kissed and made up. I forgot to mention the Psionics system in Conspiracy X.

In uses Zener Cards the GM picks a card an the player has to guess it, the more powerful a psionic they are the more guesses they are allowed to get it right. There are some slight modifications on this but that's basically it.

If it's not been mentioned, Nobilis also uses an effort-based system similar to Marvel Universe where your success at an action is determined by how much power you are willing to expend to make it so.  If you can't wrap your brain around the setting, it's actually quite appropriate.
