So apparently there was once a sorcerer class in the D&D Next playtest packet. It seems to have disappeared off the face of the internet. I've asked in the WotC forums and elsewhere, Googled myself silly, and finally out of desperation have decided to ask here.
Does anyone have the playtest materials that include the sorcerer and warlock?
yes, but not handy at the moment

Any idea why it disappeared?
They got rid of the two classes when they went in a different direction.
To summarize now that I'm at my computer:
Sorcerer: used willpower to cast spells similar to spell points. When willpower ran out, their sorcerer origin took over. In the packet, the only origin was dragon origin, so when you ran out of willpower, you grew claws and scales (for melee damage and damage absorption)
Warlock: had pacts. which at level 1, 3, and 5, you got special abilities depending on your pact type. the only one included was Verenestra. The abilities were gaining advantage on CHA checks, causing an enemy to get disadvantage on an attack, and teleportation, respectively. You also had invocations (like edritch blast), and could cast spells as long as they were rituals.

Any chance I could somehow get a copy? Google drive, email or something? Or even just a file name and I could probably find it some other way.
You have a PM.
Thanks!
