SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I think 3e gamers calling themselves grognards is like standing on someone's shoulders to call yourself tall.

Quote from: Halloween Jack;542664Knowing much about D&D isn't a prerequisite of being a grognard. You just have to be irrationally attached to it.
Being a grognard has nothing to do with D&D.

And lest we forget, it was 3e gamers who, for years, used 'grognard' to deride and dismiss roots-gamers who played older roleplaying games. To turn around and adopt that same word as a badge of honor is craven hypocrisy.

Thank God I'm on the short side, besides I'm not interested in horrible cheap alcohol or having testicles. So if you don't mind the term is all yours.:D
Don\'t mess with cats we kill wizards in one blow.;)

Sacrosanct

Quote from: B.T.;542610Your moderators are terrible.  If I can't say that 4e is shit or that a tranny is not a real woman without getting banned, then the site is worthless.

Exactly.  And I'm glad that this is a site where you can voice such opinions rather than hide your true feelings for fear of moderation.  That way I know exactly just how much of bigoted ass you are, rather than guess like most of us do on other forums.
D&D is not an "everyone gets a ribbon" game.  If you\'re stupid, your PC will die.  If you\'re an asshole, your PC will die (probably from the other PCs).  If you\'re unlucky, your PC may die.  Point?  PC\'s die.  Get over it and roll up a new one.

"Bigoted ass" is perhaps putting it lightly.
Quote from: Black Vulmea;530561Y\'know, I\'ve learned something from this thread. Both B.T. and Koltar are idiots, but whereas B.T. possesses a malign intelligence, Koltar is just a drooling fuckwit.

So, that\'s something, I guess.

In your particular case? It is, most definitely.
