SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

D&D is for everyone.... Except...

Yes, this really annoys me also.  What these people do is censor conservative speakers, dox people, write to peoples' employers trying to get them fired, label people as Nazis, etc.  And then when they get called on it, they say "Why are you complaining?  Don't you think inclusion is a good thing?"  It's extremely frustrating.  I don't know whether it is stupidity or dishonesty, but they act like you're supporting racism if you complain about their atrocious behavior.

It isn't that we don't want D&D to be inclusive, it's that we don't want people being banned from a gaming forum because they voted for Trump, don't want creators' products being pulled from the shelves over their political views that have nothing to do with gaming, and things such as that.

Made even worse is when they get extremly angry, defensive and dismissive that their behavior not only gets called out, it might them fired from their job. If one is caught is dumb enough to dox someone on social media and the employer then fires them for it, it's not the employer for being unfair it's them doing something illegal and thinking they are immune from all harm. Due to them being an SJW. It's funny seeing their public meltdown when children in adult bodies don't always get their way

Unfortunately not only do SJWs not see the difference they actively engage in purposeful ignorance on the subject. As it does not fit their carefully constructed personal narratives on the matter. some of them have one bad experience at a gaming table not three or four just one and it is proof positive that gatekeeping exists in our hobby. Try to tell them otherwise and one is "shaming the victim".

And that's presuming the bad experience occurred at all, or it happened according to their telling of the tale.

It's AMAZING how many people cry about 'gatekeeping' when they get kicked out of a group for being That Guy.
