This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

My buddy was going to give me Bottle City, I passed, think he sold it for like $500 or some nonsense. Maybe I should have taken the free offer...

I'm guessing that would have been the printing from about 10 years ago.  If all you're looking for is the content, black blade publishing worked a deal with RJK to reprint bottle city a year or two ago.  So you can buy it at MSRP instead of collector's delight.

The original printing is worth 500 Ameribucks? Well, well. It must have been a good decision to buy two copies, and keep them in pristine shape. Too bad I missed out on the Castle Boxed Set.

Yeah, he has a signed one Rob gave him at NTRPGCon like ten years ago.

Anyway, another session last night, the party almost had another TPK when they broke into a leathershop inhabited by goblin leatherworkers who rolled fantastically. So far this has been the best published module I've run since B2.
It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.

I have a boxed set, but I carted it around with me in my travels so the corners are all blown out and it looks like hell...just like every rpg boxed set I've ever owned, haha

Reading and using RPG sets when you could have kept them in humidity-controlled dark storage, and sold them fifteen years later along with $500 worth of original shrinkwrap? What kind of madness is this?!

I won an original box set a few years ago at NTRPG Con. Glad to hear it runs well, Brad. Hope to run it myself some day.  :D
