One Horse Town

I'm surprised anyone thought different.

Then again, who cares?

We've got here.

1989

Man, I hate that place.

There must be a word to describe that sort of toxic environment . . .

Rincewind1

With the 2 minutes ridicule* done, can we get back to 5e discussion? Or must we really be Eurasia to RPG.net's Oceania?

I'll start. So, Pundit, any rumours about open beta for us, perhaps?

*SEE WHAT I DID THERE???
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

Quote from: Werekoala;515154So, if people post about 5e on TBP and they HAVE to mention your name... will bannings result?

I keep seeing all those computers that get stuck in logic loops until they explode in 50's and 60's sci-fi...

That's the big question.  A couple of years ago, they did a huge thread about something written by Eyebeams (a banned former Tangency poster), with the argument that it was allowed because he was an "industry writer", but when someone posted my comments on that thread they shut the thread down, even though I was also an "industry writer".
At that point, I think I was as much an industry writer as Eyebeamz, but I guess you could try to make an argument that somehow I wasn't, that he was "pro" and I was "amateur" because I'd only worked on indie games.

But now? Hehee... let's see the hypocrisy-seizure that strikes the Modclique when someone tries to do that again.  Either they'll have to prohibit all posts by banned Tangency ex-posters regardless (which they don't want to do), or they'll have to allow anyone to post anything I say about the industry, or they'll just have to admit that they make an exception in my case because I'm scary and dangerous to them (because I can prove them wrong about their fundamental opinions and because I have a rival RPG forum that's far, far better to post in).

Quote from: CRKrueger;515175I just asked, let's see what they say.

LOL.  I love how they accuse you of being a Proxy, then close the thread. And how then an obviously hapless Modclique member (not familiar with who that is, must be a new guy) comes along and mentions Malcolm Sheppard (ie. Eyebeamz), failing completely to bring up the fact that the last bit thread he spawned was closed by the Modclique only after people started to report on what I'd posted about it.

So there you go. The Modclique have issued their challenge.  Now, go my proxies and post about the RPGPundit's comments on what he's doing and going to do in 5e (look at my blog for recent entries: conversations with Mike Mearls, positions about Monte Cook needing to be muzzled, commentary on what WoTC has to do; there's shitloads of stuff there that according to the modclique should be allowable because its "industry stuff")! Let's see what they do when you call their bluff.
