This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Buy/Trade/Sell Older Books?

I've got shelves upon shelves of books that I simply am not using.  Realistically, there's only so much I need/will ever play.

I've got an Apple box full of GURPS books, five or six of the Star Fleet Battles boxes, a bunch of old-school stuff, and odds and ends.

eBay's kind of a pain, and there's not much local market.  Would you all be interested in starting a trade/buy/whatever?  Is that inappropriate?  I hate secondary market price gouging, but I'm not giving them away for $1 each at the 'F'LGS either.

Not a lot of 'Mint' stuff here, as most of it has been well-played and I scooped up second hand anyway.

Examples:
I've got a 2nd Edition Talislanta (1989) and Atlantis: The Lost World (1988) that are wasted on me at the moment.

Pathfinder
Core Rulebook 1st Ed
War for the Crown adventure path 1-6
Ruins of Aztlan 5-6
Your Forgotten Realms was my first The Last Jedi.

If the party is gonna die, they want to be riding and blasting/hacking away at a separate one of Tiamat's heads as she plummets towards earth with broken wings while Solars and Planars sing.

I think that this notion is worthy of a sub-forum of some kind.

The RPGsite will have to put up the normal disclaimers, etc...

But it would be nice to have a rpg buy, sell, trade, section with people who don't hate you and want you to die.

The easiest solution is to send a list of things you'd like to sell to Noble Knight games.  They'll give you a price and free shipping to them.  I've sold to them several times with no issues.

Sounds like my best bet, I'll probably post a list here give y'all a crack at it first.

I've used Noble Knight to great satisfaction as well. The other perk is that when I have credit there I can just shop and buy stuff for "free" and cost plus shipping all comes out of the credit.

If you want to maximize your $$$, send everything that you didn't sell yourself to them once you're done.

If you want someone to look your list over to make sure you're not selling something for pennies on the dollar, I'd be happy to do so.

The pile of Pathfinder stuff above, they gave me an offer of $50 credit/$40 cash.  I'm pleased to see that they don't ratio stupidly into credit.
