This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

How much do you send on munchies?

Our game group of 3-4 normally gets through two 2 litre bottles of cola, a large bag of tortilla chips and a large pizza over the course of a 7 hour session on Sundays.
Pizza costs £16 delivered, I get the tortilla chips from the local £1 discount store and the cola in bulk from Costco that works out at about 50p a bottle.

Thats about $11.25 a head in Australian money.

During the glory days, we'd spend an average of $20 to $30 on snacks.  About $15 of that was pizza.

Nowadays the price would be about $40 per get together.  It costs $25 for a decent large pizza (not counting tip).  Of course, that's a low estimate.  I'd say $60 per session would be about expected.

I voted "up to 15" but it's really a variable amount between 0 and 20. Usually between 10 and 15.

I'll bring a bottle of wine sometimes. We tend to rotate tasks. I'll also fix a light dinner that doesn't get too messy but still tastes great if it's home. Or if the game takes place elsewhere I'll contribute $$$ for the meal. Sometimes, we just order.

I carry dried nuts and fruits pretty much at all time for munchies. And I am a soft drink addict. I need some Crush, 7UP or Pepsi wherever I am and whatever I do.

I try to make game nights a pleasant evening, not just a cold session of pure gaming. Especially when it takes place on a friday or saturday.
