This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Best OSR Location Idea Generators?

Ok, so here's the deal.  I'm looking for idea generators for fantastic locations.  Not so much dungeon or adventure generators – that's not a problem.  What I run into trouble with are fantastic locations: weird phenomena that exists in the material world because...magic!

Things like magical versions of, say, Devils Tower, or Old Faithful, or the Devil's Triangle.

I've looked around online and the stuff I'm seeing (Seventh Sanctum, Abulafia) maybe just a bit too far out there for what I'm looking for.  I'm looking for more Greyhawk, less Mystara, if you know what I mean.  Had the same problem with AEG's Fantasy Toolkit.

Guidance?

Hmm, tough one. Because most of these generators tend to be more weird fantasy than greyhawk.

Yup! Abulafia is better and less goofy. Seventh sanctum is just...WTF?

Abulafia Fantasy Landmarks

Seventh Sanctum Adventure Locations

Granted, these both do slightly different things, but the SS generator reads like a bad parody of other adventure mods.  But maybe those links will give folks a better idea of what I'm looking for in concept.

From what I've found, the Tome of Adventure design is pretty good.  Does anyone know of more resources like that?
