SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I think they'd be better off retiring GURPS or licensing it out.

Perhaps in some areas, but I am quite happy with the magazine subscriptions I get. Digital content is nice, but hard (and unwise - research is giving poor showing to screen use before bedtime) to read just before bed.

I may one day join the e-reader club, but in the meantime, I very much like my print magazines.

Now for RPG content, perhaps they are dead (the last print RPG magazine I had a subscription to was Dungeon Magazine). I have seen some print only small print magazines I would be interested in, but can't justify the cost.

As someone with a love for magazines, who used to work on newspapers and magazines (not in the game industry), I hate to agree with you . . .

You're right. The print magazine is a relic. Few people are willing to put financial support behind a printed magazine today.

Fortunately they collected all of the Suppressed Transmission articles in 2 stand alone volumes some time ago. I've gotten plenty of mileage out of them over the years.

Those only collect the earlier articles.

Did they publish any later collections, or just those 2?

Just those 2. Apparently, they didn't sell well enough to justify another.

Well, enjoy them while they last.
