"I want to play a rutabaga."

"But then you'd be an unintelligent lump of vegetable matter incapable of any action."

"You could just invoke rule zero and define rutabagas as sentient mobile masses of vegetable matter."

Is there a monster class for shambling mounds? Moreover, would it let you look like the "radish spirit" from Spirited Away?

Hands down one of my favorite 3rd edition books... So you want to be undead, you say?

You are Corporeal. You have a speed adjustment of slower, that makes a -1 ECL. You have one Special Quality. You are undead, Add an ECL of +1. If you move at normal speed, like you are alive, add one more, for a total of ECL +1.

Add +1 ECL for each character class level the undead has at the time it becomes undead.

If it is a 3rd level fighter undead, it will have an ECL of 3 (If it moves slow) or 4 (If it moves at the same speed it did while alive).

What did I miss?
Blackmoor grew from a single Castle to include, first, several adjacent Castles (with the forces of Evil lying just off the edge of the world to an entire Northern Province of the Castle and Crusade Society's Great Kingdom.
