This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Any crafters on this board?

Maker and model of the laminator?

It's a Bonsaii A3 laminator, when I click the amazon link it shows the smaller A4 version for some reason:

Since my laser printer is A4 I'm mostly printing A4 pages anyway, but the A3 size is nice for laminating WoTC poster battle maps - typically I cut them in 2 or 4, laminate then tape back together so they can fold away smallish. It's also possible to put two A3 pouches over a map up to 12"x36" for a single long strip of terrain.

Here's Bonsaii's US page http://bonsaii.com/country/us/product_Laminator.html
It's the only laminator I've used, it works great (& was very cheap) but no reason to think others don't too. The real work is being done by the laminating pouches. One thing I've noticed is that with larger print sizes it's best to use the thick-pouch (higher heat) setting, otherwise it may cool off too much during lamination & you get imperfectly laminated pockets.

Thanks man!

For maps I'm thinking on making some of my own, maybe printing them in some sort of canvas to be able to roll them. But this is an interesting option. It can also come in handy for my paper minis.

Here is why this forum tends to be so stupid. Many people here think Joe Biden is "The Left", when he is actually Far Right and every US republican is just an idiot.
