This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

(Everway) Brother, can you spare a Deck?

Hello folks,

I recently had a chance to take a look at the copy of Everway I got second hand a while ago, and I realised that the Fortune Deck is missing. I got my copy for free, so I suppose I should be glad that more components aren't missing, but I would like a copy of the actual deck. Can anyone help me out?
I am no longer posting here or reading this forum because Pundit has regularly claimed credit for keeping this community active. I am sick of his bullshit for reasons I explain here and I don\'t want to contribute to anything he considers to be a personal success on his part.

I recommend The RPG Pub as a friendly place where RPGs can be discussed and where the guiding principles of moderation are "be kind to each other" and "no politics". It\'s pretty chill so far.

Maybe. I've got an unopened Everway box set, would it have a fortune deck?

You'd have to wait until a couple checks clear before I could send you the boxed set though. I only bought it because I thought Greg Stolze worked on the game but I never bothered opening it, and have seriously been considering getting rid of it.

Especially if your actually planning on playing it. It doesn't do me any good after all.

I got all excited for a moment because I have a whole mess of extra Everway cards, then I realised that they're the Vision cards, not the Fortune deck.  If you need an almost complete set of the original Vision cards, though, I'm your huckleberry.  You can have 'em for free.  Drop me a line if you're interested.

It will, but don't bother cracking it open on my account - I was literally just wondering if someone had a spare set of Fortune cards lying around. I should be able to easily make a functional set from a cheap tarot deck if I deface the cards a little.

Unopened, mint-condition Everway boxes can get a seriously good price so you might want to investigate that.
