This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). White Dwarf and The Space Gamer had some great Classic Traveller articles during their runs. What are the chances of those articles being reprinted or made available? Like on a CD-ROM from FFE?
"Meh."

I would think that Games Workshop (White Dwarf) and SJG (Space Gamer) own the rights to the articles (if they haven't passed back to the authors).

With that said, PDFs of all those exist, As the original authors would likely not have seen any money from a reprint/cd-rom collection, I don't see much difference morally.

It seems that at least at White Dwarf the rights may have reverted to the original authors.
There were some former EPT/RQ/D&D/Dragon Warriors modules that were converted to Dragon Warriors and reprinted in an adventure anthology in 2010.
Swords & Wizardry & Manga ... oh my.
(Beware. This is a Kickstarter link.)

White Dwarf never owned the copyrights in their articles - they only asked for single-reprint rights (ah, the good old days). Personally I strongly suspect this applies to the White Dwarf 'Fiend Factory' monsters reprinted in the 1e AD&D Fiend Folio - it's theoretically possible TSR UK could have acquired the individual copyrights from every author, but far more likely I think that Gygax & co just assumed Games Workshop owned the copyright under Work For Hire doctrine - which does not exist in UK copyright law.

Anyway, the result is that old White Dwarf articles can only be reprinted with permission of the original author.

I believe that the Fiend Folio monsters from White Dwarf all had to have their creators contacted and permissions acquired. Theres mention of it either in the FF itself or Dragon way back I think.

As for Space Gamer. Wasnt that an imprint of Metagaming?
Some of the issues are availible online. But I believe there are notable gaps?
Wasnt there also a Fantasy Gamer mag?

Briefly on one -- Steve Jackson bought Space Gamer when he left Metagaming -- and yes, briefly, on two, for a handful of issues.  SJG sold off the mag in the mid-80s just as GURPS was coming out, and it limped on through a bunch of sticky hands for a few years thereafter.

SJG has PDFs on offer.  Heck, for anyone wanting original mags, I've got a bunch of them I'd be willing to part with ...

This was a cool site, until it became an echo chamber for whiners screeching about how the "Evul SJWs are TAKING OVAH!!!" every time any RPG book included a non-"traditional" NPC or concept, or their MAGA peeners got in a twist. You're in luck, drama queens: the Taliban is hiring.

Honestly you can buy a lot of old White Dwarf mags used, but that's about the best I've been able to find.  Some of them are beat up, but you can snag them for $1.00 each sometimes.

I have been collecting PDFs, but am interested in buying original mags if they are in good condition.

I've picked up as many as I can, as long as the price is reasonable.
"Meh."
