This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Airships and seige engines sources?
« on: September 16, 2022, 11:51:30 PM »
I'm looking for something that will help me do airships and seige engines.  Ideally the source would work ok-ish across versions (OSR, Pathfinder, 5ed).  Basically a good vehicle thing with overland and combat rules.

Also, on VTT I've handed airships very awkwardly, usually making the PCs airship the center of the map and moving layers, making a huge token, or drawing and redrawing enemy airships.  Sometimes I've run two maps at different scales.  I'd just like something where, the next time I'm running and this happens, I have something that's coherent enough that the players can design and optimize and stuff.

Any suggestions?

Warriors of the Red Plante is OSR and has airship stats and rules, guess it wouldn't be too dificult to port them to PF & 5e.
