This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Greetings,

We are currently recruiting two to three new like-minded players for our regular gaming group. For years, we have used the Adventure System, which has recently been released on DriveThruRPG. Game sessions are every other Saturday night at 8PM EST and typically run four hours long. The session is conducted by way of Skype (voice only). We use screen sharing for some tactical maps. We generally rotate between three different settings fantasy, sci-fi, and alternate history after about twenty sessions to keep things interesting.

The settings are briefly described on the Gazetteer page of the website here: http://adventure-system.com/core-rules/gazetteers

The Gazetteers are works-in-progress, but are reasonably well developed campaign settings. To be clear, this is not a play test. As stated above, this is our regular gaming group. We just use the products we are developing in support of the Adventure System. That said, you will have the opportunity as part of the group to contribute to the products as they develop. If you come up with a cool idea... it goes in the book.

Our style is an even blend of role-playing, action, and storytelling. Adults-only, the campaigns are mature in content and include violence, alcohol & drug use, and general mayhem. If any romantic activities occur, they are fade-to-black. We are not politically correct... If you are easily offended or triggered, this group is not a good fit for you.

If you are interested and want to talk about it, please contact me directly at Overlord@adventure-system.com. Do not reply by way of this post!

I must admit, I have no idea what you are talking about or how it relates to my post looking for new players...
