This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

178 Larry Elmore images added to FreeDnDArt!

Larry Elmore has graciously allowed me to upload 178 images from his Character Clip Art and Color Customizing Studio (2002) to my FreeDnDArt collection of Public Domain art. These Larry Elmore images are not in the Public Domain, but there is a very generous license to use them. They can be used for just about anything- web pages, publications, software, games, etc. Please do not upload them to other Clip Art collections without Larry Elmore's permission (as listed in the license which is included in the Larry Elmore folder).

I tried to put up high quality images, if one needs even better images, please refer to the original book (a little hard to find, but possibly available directly from Larry). The images can be found here:

Super huge cheers!

(Note- this is also listed in the Public Domain Art thread, but I feel this development is significant enough to highlight)
Miniature Mashup with the Fungeon Master  (Not me, but great nonetheless)

Those are from his clip art series he released a long time ago (a physical book + CD ROM).  I bought them way back when.  Larry is a stand up guy.  When I asked him if I could use an image he had listed in that book as "private", he said sure.
D&D is not an "everyone gets a ribbon" game.  If you\'re stupid, your PC will die.  If you\'re an asshole, your PC will die (probably from the other PCs).  If you\'re unlucky, your PC may die.  Point?  PC\'s die.  Get over it and roll up a new one.

Sacro,

Can you check the images I posted vs the images on the cd?  Zoom in real close and see if there is a major pixel difference pls. The images I posed went through a few different format conversion and I fear they have degraded (but cannot confirm).

Thanks!

The ones on the CD ROM were TIFF, but they look exactly the same as those, pixel wise.

Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed
