So RPGPundit Presents #33: Assault on Yaxley Manor (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/243314/RPGPundit-Presents-33-Assault-on-Yaxley-Manor) is the newest issue in my series, and I think it's a very interesting kind of adventure scenario.
You see, I wanted to make an adventure (ostensibly for Lion & Dragon but obviously usable for any OSR game) where there was hardly any supernatural elements. So in Assault on Yaxley Manor you won't find any monsters, and hardly any magic (none that's essential to the adventure, anyways).
Instead, the conflict is twofold: Man vs. Man, and Man vs. Nature.

It features an isolated village and old manor in an isolated mountain pass, a raging snowstorm, isolation, and a band of ruthless brigands threatening the peace over an old family feud.
So if you're looking to run a session where your PCs are fighting something other than orcs or demons, for a change of pace, check out Assault on Yaxley Manor at DTRPG (http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/243314/RPGPundit-Presents-33-Assault-on-Yaxley-Manor), or at the Precis Intermedia webstore (http://www.pigames.net/store/product_info.php?products_id=943). It's just $2.99!

You sly son of a
bitch. You knew my payday was tomorrow and my game was Saturday. You
kneeeeewIt'll have to sit in my wishlist until then...
Yaxley Manor....home of Lord Thomas, Son of Robin by any chance?
Yeah, got it! It's small enough that it might be fun to to write a little review, so look forward to that.
Although, probably should run it before I review it, huh? You may have to wait a bit longer
So I read the Pundit's post and thought, damn that sounds very similar to the Witch's Daughter (//www.rpgnow.com/product/212464/The-Witchs-Daughter-Adventure-Module-GSAM01) adventure module I wrote as while back.
Its written for a generic medieval setting, and also features an isolated village and an old manor in an isolated mountain pass, a snowstorm with almost no magic, and no monsters (unless you count dogs as monsters) its man vs nature, man versus man (where man is the monster). There are also two feuding sides threatening the peace. I don't own Lion and Dragon, but I'm definitely interested in reading Assault on Yaxley Manor now!
I've just started digging into it (busy day). I can already tell I'm getting some mileage out of these frostbite rules. I particularly like that you linked "bodily wellbeing" (homeostasis?) to Con, rather than HP. It always rankles me when some hack writes in "This makes them bleed for 4 whole HP!" like, I get more blood as I level up? Rolling for finger lost was a wonderful addition and elicited a wicked chuckle, just so you know.
I'll read more later. Doing some writing of my own right now. Then, bbq time, baby.

Well, I've never read your module (or even knew it existed until now) but hey, if you don't believe me you certainly should buy my module!
