So I wanted to make a specific product that's basically for
Lion & Dragon.
Most of my RPGPundit Presents series is usable with any OSR system, though, so I wanted to make that clear. And the way I made sure no one would miss the difference is that (after asking Brett Bernstein, my publisher)
RPGPundit Presents #88: Expanded Magical Techniques List is the first ever RPGpundit Presents issue to be Pay What You Want.
So the main gist of this issue is pretty simple: If you are familiar with L&D rules, you'd know that unlike most OSR games, when you go up in level you roll on a random table to determine what your level benefits are. For magisters and cymri, the two arcane spellcasting classes, one option is to get a random magical technique. In the L&D main book, there's a common list for both of the magical techniques available.
But since then, there's been a LOT of RPGPundit Presents products that have provided brand new magical techniques, grimoires, and other mechanics usable for spellcasters in a Medieval-Authentic setting. So it makes more sense now to have separate tables between the Magister and the Cymri class to determine what magic they each learn, what with one being college-educated know-it-alls and the other being folk-magician jacks of all trades.
Along with this, you get a complete description of ALL the magical techniques (to date) for L&D, and in which product you can find them.
So that's it. Check it out. Pay what you like.
