Whatever happens has to be cyclical, after all. :D

Damn it Clash, now this will be stick in my mind for some time. I've got enough trouble with the SW game I'm currently running, the stuff I'm thinking about from JimBob's "What setting should I choose thread", my long in development Waterworld setting and a whole lot of other stuff...

that's what got me, too. where's the "library use" check to tie the two together? :raise:
What readers want to know is: Was there porn in an open window on the laptop?

Duh, like that's not the Deep Ones coming out from beneath the reef at night and harvesting sacrifices for Mother Hydra...
Why won't the Australian authorities listen to reason?!? :tinfoil:

Don't forget about this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloop).
You can hear the recording here (http://www.bloopwatch.org/thebloop.html).
:fhtagn:
that's killer! more material for my CoC adventure this summer! :D
How about this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4912040.stm)? Could be an adventure of ancient Egyptians adventuring to the ends of the earth? Could be an ancient Egyptian colonial oppressor empire type of adventure with pre norse like barbarians under the thumb of RA. It could be a modern cold war adventure of subterfuge between competing spies burying intel in the open on the daily news. The pyramid could really be an ancient alien artifact... or the long buried temple of a thing that should not be.
I think this one (http://www.popsci.com/popsci/science/2c21c0f98d07b010vgnvcm1000004eecbccdrcrd.html) speaks for itself. The tears of yog-sothoth.
How about this (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=%2Fnews%2F2002%2F05%2F12%2Fwnugg12.xml)? I think something similar was used to explain what happened in 1632 (http://www.webscription.net/ps-379-40-1632.aspx).

I was always fascinated most by the Ubaid figurines, like this one:

Some more stuff herre: http://www.hp.uab.edu/image_archive/ue/uea.html
You know J.Arcane's post nicely complements what JongWK and clash have posted so far. All the elements so far make for a very weird adventure.

This is why theRPGsite ROCKS!
All I have to do is come here and get another idea for a cool campaign or adventure...that I may never have time to run. :p

You know, I'm tempted to try a little experiment one of these nights. I'd drink coffee until I have pure caffeine in my veins, and then do some freelance writing...
while listening to an endless loop of that recording. ;)

Is it my imagination, or is this figurine a dildo? Right down to the clitoral stimulator. This adventure's getting interesting all right.

Ah, it keeps getting better and better: (http://geology.about.com/od/geoprocesses/a/unconformities.htm)
QuoteA 2005 research cruise in the remote Pacific found something surprising: nothing. The scientific team aboard the research vessel Melville, mapping and drilling in the central South Pacific seafloor, traced out a region of bare rock that's bigger than Alaska. It had none of the mud, clay, ooze or manganese nodules that cover the rest of the deepest sea. This was not freshly made rock either, but oceanic crustal basalt that was 34 to 85 million years old.
