Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

We jumped on the cheap early tickets for Tripod's D&D: the Opera in April, but now we can't go and the booking can't be moved.

$55 for two tickets to the heartfelt and hilarious journey of three would-be adventurers and a hot dragon.

Tickets are to the show at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne on 3rd of April.

Check out the show website here.

Kyle's probably the only poster here who can make use of them, unless Tellius wants to scoot down for the show.  Or buy them for an Australian friend, relative or charity!

Damn! That would've been a good show to go to. If only I had've looked here yesterday.

On weird fantasy: "The Otus/Elmore rule: When adding something new to the campaign, try and imagine how Erol Otus would depict it. If you can, that\'s far enough...it\'s a good idea. If you can picture a Larry Elmore version...it\'s far too mundane and boring, excise immediately." - Kellri, K&K Alehouse

I have a campaign wiki! Check it out!

At the preview show last year Tripod said they're touring the US in 2010.

They've been producing the show in stages.  The "kitchen table" preview last year was done with just chairs and guitars, no props, and scripts in hand.  They've been workshopping it at an arts institute in the US (can't remember where), and I think they're bringing it back for an early season in Australia to give the full production a run and, presumably, build a fund to cover touring costs in America.

Keep the website bookmarked and I'm sure they'll update.

TIckets are still available.  Just not from me.

Melissa Madden Grey.  Leggy blonde cabaret performer.

EDIT: I lie!  Looks like she's been replaced by the less leggy and unblonde Elana Stone.

The whole production shows a lot of love for the game.  Edition-neutral, too.  Well, ish.  There are mentions of skill points.
