This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Zaibatsu Print and Play Board Game

All the talk about Cyberpunk made me remember this gem.

I have it, it's a fun game with good replayability, you play against each other and each of you can control several pawns get it HERE It has a Spanish version AND an English one.

Here is why this forum tends to be so stupid. Many people here think Joe Biden is "The Left", when he is actually Far Right and every US republican is just an idiot.

It is indeed. Helped playtest it a little when it was first being worked on.

Besides the name? Not that I know of.

You control a cyberpunk commando that's trying to get to the goodies before the commando controlled by the other players. The board is modular and is built randomly during play. You could switch the pawns provided by some plastic miniatures if you have them/want/can.

There's card decks for what happens next/enemies that pop out, etc.

The board is an hexagonal card deck also.

It went through a few iterations before getting to its current form. Art changed a little. So did gameplay. Got alot of attention for a while then quieted down.

I actually like the older BW version.

They look cool. How do you make them at home?

If your printer doesn't print on acrylic then maybe prnt water slide decals? You can buy the paper to print them at home, IF your printer can print on it. If not then what's the name of that huge chain you got there? Ginkos?

Right. Some printers can print onto plastic. Alternatives are stickers if you can get them made. Or failing all that just print to standard paper.

Here is another approach. Paper sandwiched between plastic.

and one example of how to DIY simple cardstock flats stands.

Alot of approaches were tried by players crafting it during the development. The designer was partial to the transparent flats so thats why you see alot of those in the pics over on BGG.

Little update but recently it was pointed out that right after announcing the Singularity expansion. The designer went dead silent and has not posted anything more on the game and has not responded to e-mails either. Wonder what happened. Hopefully nothing bad.
