This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

One Horse Town

I must admit that since i have hardly seen anything about it since the games launch, that it had died a horrible death.

This is the second huge expansion to civ v.

The game is amazing now, and the soon to be released expansion looks excellent as well.

I still prefer Civ 4, it was just more granular for me. The only thing I miss is better diplomacy/religions being more important (though I usually play Fall From Heaven, so religions ARE important). Good to see the game developing though - Civs are like Paradox games, they are truly ready to play 1 - 2 year after release :D.
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

As of the expansion next week, civ v will be 'complete'

Next they are working on civ 6.

Thirded.

When I want to play a Civ game, I just reinstall Alpha Centauri. Nothing since has surpassed it for me.

ACAX really just needs the multiplayer function to be smoother, and maybe a graphics upgrade.

The actual game is just pure win.
