I'm interested in learning poker and I don't have the cash to lose on one of the formal sites while I learn.

Do any of you know of sites where I can play against real human opponents without entering a credit card and without downloading anything?

Searches for "Free online poker" turn up craploads of pay sites.

I'd like to play a variety of versions if possible, but I'll settle for anything.

Edit: I forgot to mention- it needs to be safe from spyware, etc. I don't have good defenses against that stuff on this computer. I mainly use it for Fantasy Grounds alone.

The Mosaic Oracle is on sale now. It\'s a raw, open-sourced game design Toolk/Kit based on Lurianic Kabbalah and Lambda Calculus that uses English key words to build statements. If you can tell stories, you can make it work. It fits on one page. Wait for future games if you want something basic; an implementation called Wonders and Worldlings is coming soon.

Full Tilt is the only one I ever found that wasn't a total and obvious scam.  The updates however periodically break the game, and you won't really get a decent game in the free rooms anyway.

Trouble with poker is people don't play it the same way when there isn't real money riding on it.

Very cool. Thank you. It did involve a download, but it seemed legit. I just had a fun game where I was up about $4000 and lost it all. :D

I'll be playing this a lot, but I'm not betting any real cash any time soon (see above).
