This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Dune board game reprint!

I have fond memories of playing this game in high school. I loved the asymmetry by having separate victory conditions for most of the factions.
Very cool, I'll be seriously considering getting this.

This looks really cool. I feel like we're living in a golden age for board games. I love seeing this stuff. Wish I had money to drop on them.

It's possibly my favourite boardgame, totally stoked for it.

FFG actually did a reprint before this. But rethemed it to their Twilight Empire setting. Rex.

I got my copy last week. It's very nice. I might get a chance to actually play this coming weekend.

At the price point of 40 bucks, I'm thinking of getting a second copy for spare parts in case I lose anything. You get just enough troop counters for each faction. Which means if one gets lost and sucked up in the vacuum...

I played this game again a few days ago, and still had a good time.
