SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Valheim anyone?

It occurs to me I didn't specify why sausages were a good investment.

For 1 raw meat, two entrails, and four thistles, you'll get 4 sausages. The roadblock is usually foraging thistle. The good news is that it grows in swamp and black forest biomes pretty regularly and it's amazingly obvious (it actually glows a soft blue-green color; must be radioactive).

If you've made your way into the swamps, keep an eye out for turnip flowers. Turnips can be made into turnip stew (1 raw meat, 3 turnips for one bowl), another solid foodstuff. Carrot soup isn't bad but you have to keep foraging the red mushrooms (which can be a bit of a chore).

Anyways, I've been climbing mountains. Drakes and wolves aren't too bad, but man, stone golems are brutal. Amusingly, they WILL attack other enemies (much the same way skeletons and greydwarfs get into fights). Good times.

The latest Valheim update really screwed up the Valheim Plus mod.
The Valheim plus team has since put out an update to fix that, but a lot of messing about last night to fix the server.

Thinking of doing a server wipe soon anyway and looking for an interesting world seed to start again.
