This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

It feels like I spend more time on Steam browsing games than actually buying and playing them.

I got Blazing Chrome on a whim, and have been having a blast with it. It's a side scrolling shooter designed to look and play like a 90's arcade game.
Heartily reccomend.
The notion of an exclusionary and hostile RPG community is a fever dream of zealots who view all social dynamics through a narrow keyhole of structural oppression.

Blazing Chrome has my interest. Since I'm a fan of that style of video game. I'm just waiting for the right sale to pick it up.

Cadence of Hyrule. Dungeon Mode really optimizes the game. Now I like it more then the original necrodancer. More skillbased and tougher.

I am still playing Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night. And I really like it.

It's challenging. But in a way that doesn't frustrate me. With enough work and growth, I feel I can overcome any challenge the game puts in front of me.

Just tried getting back into Minecraft. But apparently all my old worlds are gone?

That was a huge amount of work lost if cant find it. Looks like my Keep on the Borderlands recreation is totally gone. Not sure if have the urge to do that again. That was alot of work plotting it out and landscaping. But was fun to wander around the place once done. Hopefully havent lost my to-scale build of the TOS Enterprise. sigh...

Currently playing:

Vermintide II - still enjoying Legend level play with my crew.

Recently dove into:

Spacehulk: Deathwing - VTII in SPAAAAAACE!!! Seriously under-rated game. Multiplayer is awesome. They need to expand this out MOAR.

City of Heroes - I can't get over you. LOVING this game, especially with the Cel-Shader graphics setting on. It's a nice new paintjob! Lots of new powersets. More dev incoming.

Just saw this. Which server are you running on?

My deep and abiding love of City of Heroes knows no bounds. When I found out it was back it was like suddenly all was right in the world again; I haven't touched my replacement MMO since the day I got back to Paragon City.

If you're ever on the Everlasting shard, look me up. My global is @Myself656.

I've been really getting close to beating The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I have done most of the quest lines including, The Companions, Civil War as STormcloaks, Dark Brotherhood, Most of the Thieves Guild, College of Winterhold and probably 99% of the Daedric Quests.
Playing: Nothing sadly
Running: Tales of Gor, FKR Star Wars, Vampire 4th edition

I'm in the middle of doing "Dawnguard" (Skyrim), which has brought me to Winterhold, so I'll be picking up there quests there too.

I'm on Torchbearer with a few friends. My global is @Detonator

Our mains are around 40ish (well me and another) but since we sidekick everyone else... it's kinda moot right now.). Yeah it's my replacement MMO since I've boycotted Activision/Blizzard. My roots in COX goes back to the very beginning, my ex-girlfriend was on the of the devs, hence my Avatar (me). It's funny back in the early days, a lot of the posters and images on in-game advertisements were photoshopped pictures from my time with her. LOL! Talk about weird.

But I've always loved the game. Always will.

Paladins.

I've had a lot of fun in the practice mode for Team Deathmatch with Ying. I have gotten used to her playstyle. And I find it fun.

Playing a hybrid healer like Ying is a definite challenge in the game. Not my usual playstyle.

I usually play Skye. She's just the first character I gravitated to. And I have played her to level 22.

people are going to inevitably compare the game to Overwatch. But even though it has some similarities, it also has a depth of customization to it that Overwatch doesn't. You are really allowed to customize your character to match your preferred playstyle.

This weekend (With a public holiday on Monday), I'll be playing lots of Total War games including, Thrones of Britannia, Rome 2 (Which I recently got all the DLC for) and Napoleon with the Darth Mod.

I might get in some ESO and Skyrim in between somewhere.

Coronavirus restrictions have been eased somewhat where I live, but I'd rather stay in and play PC games anyway, lol.
I expect most people are gonna be out and about enjoying their new found freedom, so parks, beaches etc will probably be crowded, so not keen on that.

Finished through the main story of We Happy Few. For a game that caught some deserved flak early on, the story arcs aren't too bad. I'm not a huge fan of the combat, but that's okay; I'm prone to sneaky stuff and choking out bad guys.
