This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I've made it this far not buying or playing Fallout 76. This is the first Fallout game I've opted not to jump into in 20 years, but after seeing it show up as a blip on my stepson's gamedar and then lose his interest after about 30 hours of play, I can see I'm not missing anything. Which is a shame...

Well when I have had time i have been playing mech warrior online again though thats damn little.

although this time next year if I can swing it my free time may well be all consumed by the new sakura taisen game comeing out.

I think I'm going to try to play AC3 again. I hope Sleeping Dogs has trained me how to use countering and get familiar with changing controls as things move around.

I've been playing CIV6 on my switch for the past few months and although I can't find (or are they even released yet?) any of the expansions, I still find the vanilla version totally enjoyable. The last strategy game I played before that was Warcraft 3 (yikes), so, needless to say, I'm blown away by how complex the interactions evolve over time.
I make games at GAMEBIN.tv, my Game Design and Development Course library

I started re-playing Borderlands 2 back at the start of this year.  Put aside the rest of the games (AC Odyssey, Spiderman, RDR2, GoW) and started a new run through.  Then I picked up Borderlands GOTY when they released that.  Played Borderlands The Pre-Sequel.  Now back to Borderlands 2.  Taking a break to play Bioshock for the first time now.  Totally psyched for Borderlands 3 in September.

I'm going to show a bit of age. But I have charged up my PSP and started playing The 3rd Birthday again.

That game was the sole reason I bought a PSP in the first place. So i already believe that it is a great game.

NHL 19, mostly EASHL. I played alot of Red Dead Redempton 2 too when it came out.

Currently (and perpetually)... Warcraft III.

4v4 random team ladder matches on BattleNet (the most toxic cesspool on the interwebz this side of those unmentionable image boards).

Still playing Kemco RPGs on Android that I bought during their 99cent sales long ago.

Started playing Villagers and Heroes on Android. We got new phones (with big batteries) and switched to unlimited data (to get international roaming when my wife travels on business). It's fun so far -- multiplatform (PC, Steam, Android, iOS -- all on the same servers). Good, friendly community with end game being basically PVE between content releases.

Been trying the DLC for Sleeping Dogs, just to get a bit more of that goodness.

Otherwise my kids have been hogging the XBox, I bought the retro Megadrive Ultimate Collection, and it turns out they really like old games. Even if the difficulty is harsh for most of them.

Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night on Nintendo Switch.

So far I haven't come across any game breaking bugs or frame rate dips that were reported. It plays smoothe.

I'm just not used to the intensity of Metroidvania. This game keep beating me down. But I'm not frustrated by that. It just means i need to learn more about the game.

The Witch-King of Tsámra

I've been playing through Metro: Last Light
Playing: Nothing sadly
Running: Tales of Gor, FKR Star Wars, Vampire 4th edition

I got Battle Brothers during the Steam sale.

It's addictive, but at the same time it's really more of grind than anything else. You don't win because of strategy (or tactics) but simply leveling up your guys, picking the right build, and getting the right weapons.
