This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I should really do something more productive with my time than play games and f around on the internet :)

Huh. Oddly I find it easier to budget my time playing games and I feel like less of a useless pile of shit than when I waste an evening on forums/Facebook/reddit/etc...

Yup. I started playing MMORPGs just so I would spend less time on forums and do something constructive.

Maybe not really, but it somehow feels more productive...

I'm falling in love with Planet Explorers.  It's a bit like Minecraft in space meets Warcraft where you can design your own helicopter.

So I got Skyrim, Borderlands 2 and Broforce, in addition to GW2 and WoW.

Broforce, being beta ("the Brototype") I've already cleared, more than once. I should give the multiplayer and community-built levels a spin some day.

I've started characters in both Borderlands 2 (so much fun) and Skyrim (awesome immersive bastard of a game) and I'm not sure which one to play through first.

Meanwhile, my GW2 Charr Warrior is still level 30 (wish I had more time for this game. Love it) and my WoW level 86 Orc Warrior has just arrivec in Pandaria, while the level 90 Undead Warlock gathers dust.

So many games, so little time.

Broforce is ace.

I'm replaying Saint's Row 3 (Again), just because of how much fun it is. Still. Despite having played through it all at least five times now.

Broforce is ungodly good. If anyone wants to play a multiplayer, I am ImperatorVorkosigan over there.
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).

I just cancelled my WoW sub (it'll linger on until the paid for time runs out, late July).

I got really tired of the shenanigans in random battlegrounds, where Alliance has a composition of about 1/3 of a team with greens and blues versus Horde guild teams with full Conquest gear. And with the design in Mists where if you wanted to progress in a PvE questline for a legendary cloak you had to win both Silvershard Mines and Temple of Kotmogu, it got really ugly in those BGs.

When I'm a Rogue and I'm in the top three in health on a 10 or 15 man BG, then you know the system is a bit screwed up.

I just finished Far Cry 3 up finally. Good game. I also finished up a replay of Prototype 2 as I love playing as a murderhobo shoggoth. I got Hitman: Absolution for free on Games with Gold so I think it will be next.

I desperately want to play The Last Federation. A Space 4X where you play the equivalent of the last Vorlon (or Shadow) and it has turn-based bullet hell combat? Yes, please!

Haven't had much time for gaming, but wish I could get back online to play Virtua Fighter 5 on Xbox live.

Other than that, I've been playing digital versions of boardgames on the ipad: Pandemic and Yggdrasil, along with Shredder chess.

Playing Dynasty Warriors Gundam: Reborn.

I was having fun with the RX-78GP03S Stamen and kicking in it's burst move so I could cruise around with the Orchis.  Can't wait until I unlock the Strike Freedom and its Meteor pack.

Did my first Skyrim dungeon yesterday (Bleak Falls Temple). I am hard pressed to remember what was the last time I felt so immersed in a videogame. Fucking awesome.

Also made me wonder whether I should pick up Legend of Grimrock after all.

Does Skyrim have a pony made of diamonds?  A real, live pony made of diamonds?  And even if it did, is it named Butt Stallion?  No?

Does Skyrim have a section (okay, DLC) that is based on people in the game playing a roleplaying game run by a psychotic ten-year-old?  No?

I think I have made the choice clear.

IDK, I thought Borderlands 1/2 had too much "wacky humour" and not enough faceshooting (I am aware it features a lot of faceshooting; I like those bits). It's shit in a different way to, say, Diablo 3's storyline, but it's still shit.

If you are on PC with Skryim, do yourself a favor and check out Skyrim Nexus. Tons and tons of mods that greatly improve the game (and some that are pretty bad). If nothing else, install the unofficial Skyrim patch, which fixes a LOT of bugs.
