This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). A-Yup

Danger

Still be-bopping around with War Thunder and now that they've got tanks and combined arms a-going, I don't know if I'll ever see World of Tanks again.

And I've developed an unholy obsession over getting some fun wrestling games for my ancient PS2.  Really need to upgrade that platform one of these days...
I start from his boots and work my way up. It takes a good half a roll to encompass his jolly round belly alone. Soon, Father Christmas is completely wrapped in clingfilm. It is not quite so good as wrapping Roy but it is enjoyable nonetheless and is certainly a feather in my cap.

Mass Effect Trilogy for PC...loving it, I love sandbox game play...

Nice.  I remember getting that when it first came out.  It had a *battery*.  Amazing.

Figuring out what to do with the flute was a challenge in the pre-internet days!

beeber

been hooked on what i call "tappy games" since i got my tablet at xmas.  puzzles & dragons, simpsons tapped out, ayakashi ghost guild, playmobil pirates are the main ones.  good time sinks every few hours.

The Butcher

Well, apparently there's a huge Steam sale going on.

I've decided to pick up Borderlands 2. Yeah, late to the party and all that, but I could use a FPS and this one seems to have a few RPG elements, and a sense of humor to boot.

Still under the "late to the party" header, I still want to check out TES V: Skyrim but between WoW and GW2 (which I get to play 3-4 hours a week, maybe, both combined) I have a hard time justifying to myself yet another fantasy CRPG.

And yet I almost broke down and picked up Banner Saga. The game looks gorgeous.

Anyone picked up anything worthwhile?

Sadly, my backlog is pretty much full from previous sales.

Banner Saga is made by good people, though the folks I know that were there moved to Roberts Space Industries (Star Citizen).

I did get Garden Warfare for the PC, since the Cutie likes it but hates console controllers.

The Butcher

Here's another one that caught my eye: Broforce. I think our own Imperator was the one who drew my attention to it.

Silverlion

Fallout: New Vegas (just got on Steam Sale)
DC Online (occasionally)
Star Trek Online
High Valor REVISED: A fantasy Dark Age RPG. Available NOW!
Hearts & Souls 2E Coming in 2019

I've picked up:
Age of Wonders 3 (Master of Magic + better graphics to my eyes)
Space hulk (the new one)
FTL (I've heard this is a brutal but fun game)
and Spore (it was cheap)

I was told by some friends that Spore was only worthwhile because I got it for $7.50, at a higher price it possibly wouldn't have been as worth it.  They of course paid "retail" so they are bitter, perhaps understandably, but  I won't know until I play it.

Playing the first area of Borderlands 2.

Holy shit, this is probably the closest we'll ever get to a Rifts CRPG. Loving it so far.

IT MUST BE MINE

JasperAK

From GOG's sale I picked up and have played:
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
Red Baron 3d
Legend of Grimrock (haven't quite played yet)

For my consoles:
Blades of Steel (NES)
Baseball Stars (NES)
The Nightmare of Druaga (PS2)

On my phone:
Plague Inc.
Soduku
Hungry Shark
Oubliette Lite
Hill Climb Racing

I should really do something more productive with my time than play games and f around on the internet :)

Doom

Right now, Age of Wonders III.

I like TBS usually, and loved AOW2 and others, but something's missing here. It's the same rules as the other games, but the battles just aren't fun...too much fiddly stuff going on, and too time consuming. I find the strategic map tough to read, too, very hard to tell enemy cities and stuff.

Eh, maybe it'll grow on me.

I also just picked up the Borderlands II GotY edition, with all the expansions. I found it very obnoxious that stuff for the DLC was in the main game (just, you know, useless unless you bought the DLC). But $10 for everything was too good to pass up, definitely will give the game a few more hours of gun-hunting fun.

A nice education blog.
