This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Late to the party, but GOG.com is having an "Insomnia Sale", with titles selling from 60%-90% off. Grabbed both Witcher and Witcher 2 for $3 each.

They only have so many to sell of each title (generally 100 or 300), then it flips to a new title, so you gotta camp to see what's coming up next...

The Witcher is on steamsale as well. Looks like fun. It has an interesting morally grey choices and consequences system. Much better than the black and white choices you get in Bioware games, which I also enjoy.

Playing a lot of Dota 2 lately and I played Endless Space a 4X game. Also played Darkest Dungeon.
May I say that? Yes, I may say that!

Been having a blast with Mario Kart 8, and wishing that the DLCs will just keep on coming...

Still playing Destiny, but the lack of new content until House of Wolves has me pondering either getting into GTA V in time for Heists or Helldivers.

I'm still hooked on Avalon (@ //www.avalon-rpg.com).

Recently the spate of developments has continued into their God system which allows the god characters to fight among themselves over control of the land's constituent parts.

The PVP is permanently being rebalanced out as  new abilities and skills are added and the environment has never been so exciting.

Anyone looking for a real challenge should give it a go.

I've been on a bit of a Civilization Revolution kick the past month or so.  During that same period I've also been giving Metal Slug X a good amount of play.

Other than that, for the past several months I've been unwinding with Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd a lot after work.  I've been consistently playing that one at least a little each week ever since it was released.

Doom

FWIW, GOG is having a major Civ sale...I couldn't help but pick up Civ IV and all the expansions for like $8. Only need one game of that to feel like I got my money's worth.

A nice education blog.

It's virtually impossible for me to have "one" game of Civ going... :o

I'm with ElSalvador... next month marks 19 years for me playing Avalon: The Legend Lives ( //www.avalon-rpg.com )

There is just so much to do whether you want PVP, climbing the ranks in your guild or city, making yourself the richest person in the realm through your profession skills or commodity collecting or any of the other various ways you can play your character. You literally design the life you want for them

When I first started playing it was pay to play but recently it has gone free with sponsorship through your guild or city.

I got "windward" last night.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/326410/

An indie game (Only 117mb install too).
It's a sailing ship game where you trade, do missions, kill pirates, build towns etc.

It's in alpha atm, but it's very playable and a very relaxing game to play, what with the sailing about and ambient music.

The combat is pretty fun, trying to broadside pirate ships etc.

also it's sort of sandbox play and the gameworld you create is procedurally generated.

It's only $15, so worth that price.
