Finished Prodeus on Ultra Easy. It's fun, if you're into Doom shooters. The level design is excellent, and it scratched my Metroid Prime exploration itch a bit.
I'm replaying on Medium for my second play though.

I play fire emblem engage, it's an excellent return to the source of the series! I really prefer this combat system than that of Threehouse.

I finally started playing Elden Ring.  The only "Souls" game I've played before was Bloodborne and I loved it.  Everything from the setting to the style to the combat clicked with me.

By comparison, I really like Elden Ring's setting and look, but I find the world feels empty.  I think that's a result of the openness of it all.  Bloodborne's city just felt more claustrophobic with more going on.

I still take some exception when people say the games are always fair in their difficulty.  Nah, there's some cheap ass shit in them.  Still enjoy it though.

ATM I'm replaying American McGee's Alice. Prior to that I was playing Gemini Rue but I got bogged down as it wasn't engaging me. Before that I played Unavowed, which I really enjoyed (especially because it's set in NYC).

And then I've always got Master of Magic, Alien Crossfire and Beyond the Sword installed. I've been toying with Caster of Magic, Civ IV A New Dawn, Dune Wars and Final Frontier Plus. You can see I'm a Sid Meier fan.

The "hard but fair" moniker is honestly less true of Elden Ring than of any other game in the series. Trying not to be the obnoxious Souls fan here, so I'll just say that if Elden Ring burns you with either its repetitiveness or its encounter design, don't give up on the series. If you loved Bloodborne for its tone and level design, you'd probably really like Dark Souls (1) and Demon Souls (If you can get a hold of it). If you were more into the combat, you'd probably get a lot of good times out of Dark Souls III.

I recently picked up Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, a first person action RPG on PC. It's in super early access at the minute, but looks like it has promise to be the best new Elder Scrolls-like in quite a while.

Also played the demo not long ago for a turn-based first-person RPG called Hellslave, which will probably be the next thing in my queue

Might & Magic 6, the Mandate of Heaven.

I have multiple games going, each trying a different tact. Even though I have owned this game since 1998 or so, I have never completed it.

It's too much fun starting out with new characters, and the end game is tedious—the interior of the pyramid takes forever to traverse, and it's one of those "pull the lever in this chamber to open the door in a chamber on the opposite side of the pyramid".

i'm playing Z Legends 2 is an action adventure game developed by developer Zitga Studios. In Z Legends 2, players will participate in matches with different opponents to achieve the highest score. I'm playing Dead by Daylight online. It is a fun asymmetrical horror movie simulator with a Killer on one side and four Survivors who must power the exit gates and escape the "trial". They have both original and "licensed" DLCs, with the licensed ones ranging from Halloween, to Hellraiser, to Ringu (the original Japanese one).

The game has devolved from what meant to be basically a party game into a strong "meta" with a toxic community, but playing Michael Meyers, Sadako (who actually come out of the TV holy fuck!) or the Demogorgon from Stranger Things is quite the experience.

My other current game is Europa Universalis 4 as England - and the war against France is not going well...
For every idiot who denounces Ayn Rand as "intellectualism" there is an excellent DM who creates a "Bioshock" adventure.

Yeah, DbD looks good on paper until you play against survive-with-friends (SWF) groups and then it gets painful. It's also got horrendous balance issues, all tilted inexorably towards survivors, which makes playing as killer spectacularly unfun.

i'm playing swtor. mostly as my Star Wars fix, but a small social guild of very positive people i joined about a year ago is nice as well. lets me practice my spoken english too.

really? hasn't been my experience, tbh. i don't think i spent a dime on it apart from subscription fees, but then again i don't play their dress-a-space-barbie game at all :P

God, I'm dating myself, but I read that as SWOTL at a glance.  And I was like, "Hey, Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe was the one of the best sims of it's time!  I need to replay that!"
